The art of simplicity

Our design guidelines circles around simplicity. We want to make SelfieJobs the easy to use but still relevant site for job-hunters. In addition we want to make it fun while still serious. In other words many trade offs..Not that easy a challenge and therefore this after-hours&weekends project will need some more time. What do you think about Video in recruitment. Should it be compulsory or an option? Should a video be 10, 30 or 60 secs?
